Ewelina Luczko
Ewelina received her BASc in Environmental Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Ontario. She has worked in government, the mining industry and various environmental consulting firms over the course of her co-op work terms. After completing a fourth year design project pertaining to coastal sediment transport and the hydraulic performance of offshore structures, her interest grew in coastal and wave modelling. In addition to her interest in coastal engineering, she believes it is critical reliable, carbon-free technologies are used to meet rising power production demands.
Ewelina will be using a newly developed wave modelling software to determine potential wave energy converter configurations and the effects wave energy converters will have on each other and the surrounding environment.
