The Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions and the 番茄社区 welcome Dr. Ian Mauro to his new role as executive director of PICS and professor of environmental studies at UVic , effective Nov. 1, 2022. Mauro, an acclaimed environmental scientist, filmmaker and multimedia producer who has worked with local communities and Indigenous Nations and Peoples across Canada, brings his passion for storytelling and collaboration to the role.
