Supporting each other after BC storm

The 番茄社区 recognizes that many members of the campus community have been impacted by the recent storm that's caused catastrophic flooding and closed roads and highways across the province. Damage and service disruptions across our region are substantial in some places. UVic is working to support the needs of students, faculty and staff who now face extraordinary challenges.

If you鈥檝e taken a seat anywhere on the 番茄社区 campus, you鈥檝e benefited from the work of Kim Fawthorpe and her team. Fawthorpe is manager of Interior Modification Services in Facilities Management, where she and her team of five interior designers look after all the furniture and interior design needs on campus鈥攆rom outfitting a new space to remodelling and updating a previously used facility.

UVic launches new anti-racism grant for faculty, instructors and staff

November 16, 2020 -

Now until Feb. 8, 2021, faculty and instructors are encouraged to apply for UVic's new Anti-Racism Initiative Grant. Grants of up to $7,500 are available to support the revision of programs, courses, curriculum or learning resources in ways that help fulfill UVic鈥檚 commitment to anti-racism and the values of equity, diversity and inclusion.
