Icelandic institute
The Margaret and Richard Beck Trust, University Extension, Cinecenta and the 番茄社区's Departments of Creative Writing sponsored the first Icelandic Institute in Victoria from July 30 to August 17, 1990.
The Institute brought three guest lecturers to the University. Their charge, through a group of courses, a series of public lectures, and a festival of films, was to introduce us to modern Icelandic culture.
