All applicants to the UVic MA in Community Development (MACD) program may be eligible for UVic fellowships (awards) distributed by the School of Public Administration. Additionally, MACD applicants for the 2025 cohort may also be eligible for priority admission awards.
SPA 2025 Priority Admission Awards (2 X $15,000)
The School of Public Administration (SPA) is committed to supporting and empowering individuals to reflect a diverse community development sector. We are actively recruiting Black and Indigenous applicants for the 2025 MA in Community Development (MACD) cohort who demonstrate a strong commitment to social justice, equity, anti-racism and decolonization.
Eligibility
To qualify for a SPA 2025 Priority Admission Award, please self-identify and outline your commitment to community development as it relates to social justice, equity, anti-racism and/or decolonization in your MACD Statement of Intent. Applicants must also meet UVic Faculty of Graduate Studies eligibility requirements for awards.
