Professional information & research Interests

Dr. Brousselle joined the School of Public Administration as Director and Professor in December 2017. Her main expertise is in evaluation approaches and methods and in health system analysis. She is particularly interested in contributing to the building of more sustainable and equitable societies.

Her research is focused on identifying approaches for accelerating the ecological transition. In 2017 she received the recognition Mention coup de coeur of the Jean-Pierre-Bélanger  Prize from the  Association pour la santé publique du Québec (ASPQ)  for her public positions defending the universality, integrality and accessibility of the healthcare system.

She received her PhD in 2002 from the health administration department of the University of Montreal. During 2011 and 2016, she held the Canada Research Chair in Evaluation and Health System Improvement at the Université de Sherbrooke. She was the French editor of the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation/Revue canadienne d'évaluation de programme (2015-2019) and she is a member of the editorial board of Evaluation and Program Planning.
