Whether you graduated a year, a decade or what seems a lifetime ago, it's easy to stay involved with the writing department.
We offer free readings and author visits throughout the academic year, and regularly welcome back alumni authors to read their work and speak to our classes, as well as award-winning visiting authors of national and international repute.

- The annual Southam Lecture, where a mid-career author or journalist shares their thoughts on a given topic
- The long-running series at artist-run centre , where visiting authors read and do live interviews throughout the year
